The International Festival of Children's Communication El Chupete, which celebrated its XVIII edition in person, has already chosen its winners. The event, which took place at Espacio Ventas, was hosted by Leonor Lavado in a gala full of laughter and emotions.

  • PINK Agency wins the Grand Prize for Brand Strategy for its work for the FAD.

  • The project "Muchoyó. La infancia tiene voz" by Zinkia, Jorge Martinez, Arena Media and Collage for "The Children's Revolution" (Aldeas Infantiles SOS, Educo, Plan International, Save The Children, UNICEF Spain and World Vision) has won the Grand Prize for Best Idea.
  • In addition, 3 special Chupetes were awarded in recognition of the work of Santiago Segura as best communicator, D'Artacan as best children's character and Lego for its brand trajectory.

The International Festival of Children's Communication El Chupete, which celebrated its XVIII edition in person, has already chosen its winners. The event, which took place at Espacio Ventas, was hosted by Leonor Lavado in a gala full of laughter and emotions.

D'Artacán, a character created by the recently deceased Claudio Biern, was awarded the Special Jury's Pacifier for Best Children's Character and the Biern family received the award to an emotional ovation.

Also, from the organization of El Chupete, a special Chupete was awarded this time to Santiago Segura, for his entire career as a children's communicator, especially for his most recent films such as "Padre no hay más que uno". The actor and producer had a few words for the audience.

As a finale to the Special Awards, LEGO was honored with the "Special Award" for its Brand Lifetime Achievement.

In this edition, in addition to the aforementioned awards, the Jury of El Chupete 2022, chaired by Germán Silva, awarded a total of 18 prizes selected from all the nominations received.

In addition to these award winners, the special awards of El chupete 2022 include MATTEL with the Grand Prize for Innovation for "Barbie Astronauta", "Muchoyó. La infancia tiene voz" by Zinkia, Jorge Martinez, Arena Media and Collage with the Grand Prize for Best Idea for their campaign for "The Children's Revolution" (Aldeas Infantiles SOS, Educo, Plan International, Save The Children, UNICEF Spain and World Vision) and as the grand finale of the night, the agency PINK with the work developed for the FAD, winners of the Grand Prize for Best Strategy.

Special Mention El Chupete Joven

This edition of El Chupete 2022, in addition to being of the highest quality in terms of prizes, wanted to bring back the excitement and fun of previous years to the gala with the emotional musical performances of Víctor Elíaswho composed a new melody for El Chupete, and the children of Acción por la Música. The laughter provoked by the fantastic hostess Leonor Lavado also continued through the Recfy Challenge that was created live and can be seen on the El Chupete channels.

In addition, at the Gala there was an important moment of recognition of LA Agencia Manifiesto, creators of the campaign of El Chupete 2022 #ElChupetedelaPaz and is intended to get the industry talking, to shake it up. Fede Arce and Jesús de la Rosa explained the idea of the campaign and the creative way to develop the concept: echoing current controversial actors, but also from the children's field, assimilating The Pacifier not only to a prize, either in childhood or in the professional field, but also to a "soother", an object that gives peace to those who carry it and to those around them when they have tantrums. And that which, without a doubt, as the campaign says “El mundo necesita más Chupetes”.  The campaign can be seen on El Chupete's main channels, social networks and industry magazines as well as on YouTube.

Likewise, without forgetting the responsibility in communication that the El Chupete brand is known for, this year we wanted to add the concern for sustainability and "El Chupete" has signed an agreement with Creasta Spanish company pioneer in the reduction and measurement of carbon footprint and specialized in the entertainment sector, to measure the environmental impact of the 18th edition of the festival. After the implementation of various measures to reduce emissions by the El Chupete team, Creast will carry out a rigorous and evidence-based measurement of the main areas of CO2 emissions (energy, mobility, catering, materials, waste, accommodation and water). This will provide the final carbon footprint of the event.

From El Chupete we look forward to another 18 years watching over creativity and responsibility in children's communication and we thank all our partners for having made this unique gala possible.
